Lord Balarama is the elder brother of Sri Krishna. He is appeared in this world to enhance and support the transcendental pastimes of the Lord. Being non-different from Lord Krishna Himself, Lord Balarama is known as the original spiritual master. Devotees of the Lord, pray to Him for spiritual power.
A nice bathing ceremony was held at the temple, for the pleasure of Sri Balarama ji shilas, accompanied by blissful kirtan and distribution of maha prasada. Srila Prabhupada explained that normally Lord Krishna appears for the pleasure of His devotees, but when He appears with His brother Balarama, He simply appears for His own pleasure, to enjoy different pastimes together.
